The 2026 State of Glasses Wearers in America

A national look at vision habits, prescription awareness, and eye health across America.

At GlassesUSA.com, we believe better eyewear starts with understanding the people who wear it. Over 18 years and more than 10 million pairs of glasses delivered, we set out to better understand how Americans experience their vision, manage their prescriptions, and care for their eye health.

We surveyed daily glasses wearers across the U.S. and worked with ophthalmologist Dr. Norman Saffra to turn the findings into practical guidance. Our goal is to improve vision education, support better decisions, and create better experiences for glasses wearers everywhere.
