How to order contact lenses online

The easiest way to shop for something today is by ordering it online. More and more people handle all their shopping needs via their phones or computers, including the purchase of contact lenses.
However, there are still those who aren’t convinced about getting something like eyewear and specifically contact lenses via an online retailer. If you’re still one of the non-believers, we made this guide to show you how easy & safe it is to purchase your contact lenses online at GlassesUSA.com.

Get your prescription

Before ordering online, you need to get your prescription from your doctor. The prescription for contact lenses is ONLY for contact lenses, and you can’t purchase eyeglasses with it. They have an expiration date on them as set by your state.

Provide your prescription

After choosing your Contact Lenses and clicking on them, it’s time to provide the prescription. You can simply upload it directly to the website or fill it out on the site. It’s that easy.

Complete your order

After filling in or uploading the prescription, all you have left is adding it to the cart and completing the order. Shipping is completely free, no order minimum required. To make sure your contacts prescription is valid and accurate, we will confirm it with your eye doctor.
Common Questions
How long does it take to verify my prescription?
Usually no longer than 48 hours. Just provide us with your doctor details and we will do the rest.
What if I wear a different brand on each eye?
In that case, you will need to first order lenses for your right eye and only then for your left eye.
On the product page make sure to uncheck the box next to "Left Eye" and enter your prescription in the "Right Eye" section. Once done, continue by clicking the "Add to Cart" button.
Now that you've done that, just proceed to your left eye's brand page by finding it on the left side navigation bar. Once you get to its product page, make sure to uncheck the "Right Eye" box. Enter your prescription in the "Left Eye"section. When you are finished, click Add to Cart.
Click the shopping cart and make sure that both brands appear there. Once you are sure your order is right, click "Continue Order" to proceed.
How do I know if my prescription is still valid?
Prescriptions are good for a minimum of one year and can even be valid for up to two years in certain states. Naturally, we encourage our customers to get regular eye exams. If you have provided us with a copy of your prescription, we will make sure to let you when it is about to expire. If it has already expired, we’ll call to remind you that it's time for a new exam and an updated prescription.
Do I need a prescription to order contact lenses?
Yes. However, even if you don't currently have one, you can still make an order. You just have to select your eye doctor or the name of your clinic from the drop down menu on the order page. Once you submit that, we can then contact them directly on your behalf to get your prescription, as we are required by law.
Can I use the same prescription for eyeglasses and contact lenses?
The prescription for contact lenses is ONLY for contact lenses, and you can’t purchase eyeglasses with it. They have an expiration date on them as set by your state.
What is your contact lenses return policy?
It's pretty simple. If you're not 100% happy with your order, we'll give you your money back. No questions asked and completely hassle-free. If your prescription has changed, you can return all unused lenses, as long as they're still sealed in their original packaging and as long as it’s within the first 30 days of receiving them. Once we confirm your new prescription, we will send your new lenses back to you.
