Tonight marks the 62nd Emmy Awards - WOW, this program is already in its 62nd year? That is insane! Anyway, we have our picks and choices as to who will win the golden trophy to add to their mantle! The way we selected our winners was not based on talent - our winners were chosen based on their choice of eyeglasses they’ve worn.

Mad Men is one of the hottest television shows on air! It’s no surprise that three of the series’ actors and actresses made out list. Jon Hamm, who plays Donald Draper, is not known for wearing his sexy specs on the show but can often be seen wearing them around Los Angeles. He’s up for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. John Slattery, who plays the womanizing Roger Sterling of Sterling Cooper Draper and Pryce, makes it well known on the show that his character needs prescription glasses. Slattery is contending for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. The voluptuous actress Chrstina Hendricks, who plays head secretary Joan Harris (née Holloway) is rarely seen with her glasses on but we hope she wears them tonight as she (hopefully) wins Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.

Another favorite show this year was Glee. With gleeks sprouting up all over the country, it’s no surprise that Matthew Morrison, who plays the lovable (and studly) Mr. Will Schuester, was nominated for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series. His full framed glasses send many women over the edge when combined with his voice. We saw Cheerio coach Sue Sylvester - played by the talented Jane Lynch, try to bring down the glee club only to build it back up. Jane surely deserves the Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series trophy!

Rounding out the rest of our favorites are: - Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series: Kyra Sedgwick for her role as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson on the show the Closer. - Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series: Hugh Laurie for his role as the somewhat insane Dr. Gregory House on House. - Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series: Tina Fey for her role as Liz Lemon - the head writer of TGS with Tracy Jordan on the show 30 Rock. - Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series: Jesse Tyler Ferguson for his role as lawyer, Mitchell Pritchett, on the show Modern Family.

What do you think of our predictions? These are the hottest stars with glasses online but do they deserve their awards? Perhaps they do but not because they wear glasses - probably more for their talent! Leave your thoughts!
