Do you know what time it is? Well, it's that time! It's the time for us to answer another customer question! We combed through hundreds of e-mails received from various customers in regards to our eyeglasses! We will actually be answering a few customer questions today.

Our first question comes from Heidi in North Dakota. Heidi asks: I was wandering around your site and I noticed that you have a great coupon deal going on. Apparently, if I buy three pairs of glasses, I can get a big percentage off my bill. Here's my question - what would I use three pairs of glasses for? I really do not see the point in having so many pairs of glasses - is one pair not sufficient enough today? Maybe I am behind the times....

Well, Heidi, you are certainly not behind the times. It is completely true that if you purchase three pairs of prescription glasses, you can have 10% taken off your total bill! That is a huge amount of savings. Now, to answer your other question as to why you would want three pairs of glasses. Think of the possibilities. If you have a family, three pairs of eyeglasses at 10% off means that three pairs of eyeglasses can be distributed to people in your household at 10% off the original price. Maybe you are a fashionista and like to have as many accessories as possible. Some people use eyeglasses as just another accessory to their wardrobe. It is also a great idea to have a back-up pair of glasses for when you go on vacation or just for everyday accidents. If you don't want three pairs of glasses, we have another promotion for buying two pairs instead. You can purchase two pairs of eyeglasses and take 5% off your total bill! You just need to use the code: multiframe2 instead of the 10% off coupon code which is multiframe3.

Our next question comes from Jarred in Mississippi. Jarred asks: I have a really bad prescription. My OD reads as -3.50 and my OS reads as -3.75. I was told I have an astigmatism and should probably get extra or ultra thin lenses. I saw on your website that I can buy the ultra thin lenses with an index of 1.74. Would that be the best option for me given my high prescription? Should I have a different index instead?

Well, Jarred, your prescription is not that high. It is actually a fairly common prescription. I would not recommend the ultra thing lenses with an index of 1.74. Given that your prescription is somewhat mid-range, I would recommend either polycarbonate lenses or thin lenses with an index of 1.60. Anything above this will make the lens very thin and a lot more fragile. You will likely have a problem with the lenses in the eyeglass frames if the lenses are too thin. You may also experience distortions in your vision if you get ultra thin lenses. If your prescription were -5.00 or higher, I would recommend the extra thin lenses with an index of 1.64. Any higher than that and I would suggest the ultra thin lenses.
