Sometimes glasses break. Just because you buy cheap eyeglasses doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve skimped on quality! Even the most expensive glasses need adjustments and tweaks from time to time. Now, believe it or not, when it comes to your eyeglasses, there are actually a few simple fixings that you can do yourself - in your own home!

Sometimes when purchasing a brand new pair of glasses you bring them home, put them on and something just doesn’t feel right. Maybe it’s that they aren’t as loose as the ones you tried on in the store. Or possibly you bought the glasses online and simply weren’t able to try them on? Either way, you can actually mold them to fit your face a bit better!

The number thing to always remember: Be Gentle!
You certainly don’t want to make matters worse, so don’t be afraid to tweak the frames gradually!
If the frames are metal, try gently bending them to fit your needs. However, if your glasses frames are plastic, it may be a bit more difficult to mold them to your satisfaction.. So, try putting them under some warm water and then try; that should do the trick!

If you’ve put quite a bit of wear and tear on your favorite pair of eyeglasses and see that the arms appear a tad loose, don’t worry! Try getting out the smallest flat-head or Phillips-head screwdriver you have and try tightening up the screw; this should last you awhile. Just be sure not to screw them in too tightly
